The last pictures before our farewell party.

.A few more pictures before we stay goodbye to Indonesia
I was amazed at the bow of this fishing boat.

This a picture taken of the Monument from the yacht as we were crossing the equator.

The next few pictures are of a sea gypsy village that we were able to visit. After the visit we gave them school supplies and books.

We were taken to visit a Buddhist Temple. The laughing Buddha.




We were also taken on a tour to the mangroves where we saw monkeys, kingfisher birds, snakes all curled up in the trees, lizards that swim in the water. Very interesting.

This flower comes from the okra plant.

These guys are all from the tourist bureau that organized the activities and tours for us in Tanjung Penang. They came ti visit us on the yacht as they had never been on one.

Next few pictures are of a fishing village where all the houses were built on stiltes over the water.

This fishing boat had just been built.All the fishing boats are still all wooden. That is something you don"t see very often.

These two boys welcomed us into their village which was part of the celebration for the rally group.

One of the captains from the rally was called up to the stage and dance with the guy that was singing. They always includes us and always with dancing.

This little boy was not shy and was determined to fully us on our walk.

His mom had to run after him because he wanted to come with us. She finally caught up to him and convinced him to go back home.

At this welcome ceremony every captain  received a beautiful plaque and the reason Don is in the middle, he was chosen to be the spoke person for the group.

This young lady is  Dwi from the tourist bureau. Very beautiful and wonderful person.

These sea gypsy shacks are all over the sea. You can see them for miles and miles.
